Everything on the wall earned its spot
We don't stock a brand because there's margin in it. If nobody behind this counter would train in it, it isn't here.
The shop
Why we opened
We are a family-owned shop with one counter, in Murrieta Square on Murrieta Hot Springs Road, staffed by people who train — which meant everything on the wall had to earn its spot.
Buying fight gear used to mean two bad options. Order online and guess your glove size, wait a week, and find out the hand compartment is too narrow for your wraps. Or drive an hour to a shop where nobody behind the counter has ever caught a kick.
Southwest Riverside County has a serious fight scene — Muay Thai, jiu-jitsu, boxing and MMA gyms across Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee and Lake Elsinore — and until recently nowhere local to buy the gear for any of it. That gap is the entire reason this shop exists.
Neither of those is a good way to buy something that sits between you and an injury. So we built the third option: a shop where the gear is on the shelf today, the person fitting you trains, and you can close a fist in three gloves before you spend a dollar.
“The brands you train in, right here in Murrieta.”
How we do it
We don't stock a brand because there's margin in it. If nobody behind this counter would train in it, it isn't here.
If you've been training three weeks, you don't need a $200 glove. We'll say so, and we'll say it before you reach for your wallet.
Hand shape decides more than logo does. That's why we wrap your hands and put three pairs on the counter instead of pointing at a shelf.
Every fitting comes with the reasoning. If you can explain to your training partner why you're in 16oz, we did the job.
